Amanda joined Dr. Donnelly’s team in the summer of 2024. She is a dental assistant with an orthodontic module and brings more than 10 years of dental assisting experience to the clinic.
Her interest in dentistry has continued to grow as she has worked in different areas of the profession. She values the opportunity to support patients’ health and confidence, whether they are receiving routine dental care or more involved treatment. She appreciates being part of a practice where Dr. Donnelly and the team continue learning and make thoughtful use of current technology.
Amanda knows that a dental visit can feel intimidating. She works to help patients feel comfortable, cared for, and informed about what is happening during their appointment.
In addition to her orthodontic training, Amanda has pursued further education related to TMJ therapy, sleep apnea treatment, and myofunctional therapy. This learning has strengthened her interest in how the teeth, muscles, joints, oral posture, and airway work together. She enjoys supporting patients receiving care for jaw discomfort, sleep-disordered breathing, or oral function issues as part of a dentist-led treatment plan.
Outside the clinic, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family. Her son and daughter keep her busy, and she enjoys staying active and making lasting memories with them.
