Lyn joined Dr. Donnelly’s team in 2019. Patients will often meet her at the front reception desk, where she helps make the administrative side of a dental visit as clear and straightforward as possible.
She brings decades of accounting and administrative experience to the practice. Lyn began her career in banking in a small community northeast of Calgary and spent 13 years in the industry. She later had an opportunity to learn about dental administration and discovered that the field was a natural fit.
Lyn now has more than 40 years of experience in the dental industry. Her background includes practice management, treatment coordination, administration, and human resources. She can assist with financial arrangements for insured and uninsured patients and keeps current with hundreds of dental benefit plans. Because each plan has its own limits and conditions, she helps patients understand how their available benefits may apply to proposed care.
Helping patients feel welcome is important to Lyn. She works to make each interaction positive and consistent, whether someone is calling with a question or arriving for an appointment.
In her spare time, Lyn enjoys music, camping, spending time with her family, and being with her Shih Tzu, Malea.
